• What is recycling?
  Recycling is when something is not thrown away after use but is used again in another way, like bottles and plastic containers. Recycling is something everyone can do-at home, at school and at work. 

• What can you recycle?
     You can recycle lots of different materials like...cans, glass, plastic, paper, material and other things too.

   

  Why recycle?
     We recycle because it helps the environment by saving natural materials, such as trees, oil and water. We save the land because we send less rubbish to the landfill. It is also cheaper than buying new things.

• Ways you can recycle at your school:
  1. We can put bottles into the right bins.
  2. Use ice-cream containers for storing class equipment.
  3. You can use scrap paper for drawing.

  4. All your food scraps can go into a worm farm like ours. The food is eaten by the worms and they make worm tea which is good food for plants.
